The success of our future depends on the education system, and Philly’s education system needs more love and support to truly thrive. Here are two great organizations to donate to or volunteer with that serve the city’s youth.

Philadelphia Children’s Foundation is a nonprofit that assists Philadelphia public schools by providing classrooms with internet-ready computers. They also help purchase books for school libraries and distribute computers to families in need. Learn how you can get involved.

BioEYES seeks to instill a love of science in kids by allowing them to study biology through real-world applications and hands-on activities. It provides materials, knowledge, and support to teachers so they can build a curriculum that goes beyond traditional classroom experiments. You can donate here.
