Fishtown, a vibrant neighborhood northeast of Center City, is home to plenty of amazing nightlife venues. Here’s a few of my favorites.

The local music scene thrives at Johnny Brenda’s on Frankford Avenue, where Justin Beiber was once spotted.

The Fillmore on nearby E Allen Street is actually three venues in one. In addition to the main room, there’s also a bar and lounge, and a mini club that spotlights up-and-coming local acts.

I’ve attended multiple concerts at both the Fillmore and I always leave buzzing with joy. This week, Live Nation is offering $25 tickets to a bunch of local shows. You could snag tickets to Bebe Rexha or Nothing But Thieves at The Fillmore!

I also love Punchline Philly on E Laurel Street. This iconic comedy club, restaurant and bar seats 300 people and has a spacious outdoor patio.

The venue hosts open mic nights, drag brunches, and themed comedy nights. I was lucky enough to see SNL comedian Pete Davidson there, and enjoyed a wood fire-oven pizza during the show 🍕

Fellow SNL comedian Chris Redd will be hitting the stage this weekend, and tickets are still available.
