Philadelphia may no longer be considered the poorest big city in the United States, but many are still struggling. With grocery prices up nearly 30% since 2020, accessing food and other essential items is still financially burdensome for many local families.
Whether you’re in need of their services, would like to volunteer, or are interested in donating, here are some food pantries serving Philadelphians.
Bebashi | 1237 Spring Garden St.
Bebashi’s Food First Pantry operates on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Guests can access fresh produce, meat, and other staple pantry items. To utilize the resource, you must get a referral if you are not already a client at Bebashi.
You can fill out this form if you’d like to volunteer with Bebashi or fill out this form to partner on a food drive.
