When you’re walking around a big city, it can be stressful to not know where to find a bathroom. Here’s a guide to nine public bathrooms throughout Philadelphia. These are also all free to use, making it that much easier to go!

The Concourse at the Comcast Center

With marble counters and a decently clean atmosphere, these bathrooms are a great place to go. This is a spot to mark on your map when you’re hanging around Center City.

Reading Terminal Market

Maybe you’re around Market East and all of a sudden you’ve got to go. Right on the edge of Chinatown, Reading Terminal isn’t just incredibly cool – it also has bathrooms. Pro-tip: Grab a DiNic’s roast pork sandwich on the way out.

Sofitel

With any hotel bathroom stop, the key is confidence. Walk in like you own the place, and no one will question you. This fancy hotel near Rittenhouse Square has luxurious bathrooms with huge wooden doors and nice towels to dry your hands.

Italian Market Visitor Center

If you’re in South Philly and gotta go, head to the Italian Market Visitor Center for a public restroom. And while you’re there, pick up some Italian delicacies at Di Bruno Bros. and Claudio’s.

Franklin’s Table Food Hall

This food hall in the center of the University of Pennsylvania campus has a public bathroom. If you’re feeling peckish, grab a bite to go and sit by the Split Button sculpture at nearby Blanche Levy Park.

La Colombe Coffee

This extra-large La Colombe location in Fishtown is a great pit stop. I can’t step into a coffee shop without getting a fun drink, so treat yourself to a latte or matcha if this is your bathroom stop.

Wawa in Roxborough

As far as convenience store bathrooms go, Wawas are known to be fairly clean. If you’re in Roxborough, this Wawa is the perfect stop.

Philly Phlush Bathrooms

Philly is testing out a new public bathroom project called the Philly Phlush. There are currently three locations: one in Center City, one in North Philly, and one in West Philly. These bathrooms offer changing tables, hand washing stations, menstrual products, and Narcan for opioid overdoses.
