Pop Quiz: Do You Know PA’s State Symbols?
Feeling that post/mid-holiday slump? What better way to get out of the doldrums than by playing along with our Pennsylvania state symbols quiz? Over the years, we have adopted all sorts of plants, animals, and even a drink to represent our Commonwealth, but not all of these symbols and the stories behind them are common knowledge. Former Hey Philly newsletter editor Asha Prihar put the City Cast Philly team to the test over the summer, and we’re bringing this game back so you can do the same with your friends and family. (And special thanks to Sophia Lo, City Cast Pittsburgh producer, for sharing their research and putting together many of these questions.)
