Council Returns, Preparing for Trump & Krasner Snubbed By Dems
It’s our Wednesday politics show. Host Trenae Nuri is joined by Lauren Vidas, our new politics contributor. Lauren works in government relations in the city and writes the City Hall Roll Call newsletter for the Committee of Seventy. They talk about what issues council is taking on now that they’re back in session for 2025, how the city’s preparing to protect immigrants and other marginalized groups during the Trump Administration, and why Philadelphia’s Democratic Party won’t endorse District Attorney Larry Krasner.
