Even if you aren’t vegan, there are a ton of dishes that will have you wondering how something plant-based could be sooooo good. Seventeen restaurants around Philly are taking part in Philadelphia’s Vegan Restaurant Week from Oct. 25 through Nov. 3. Menus are still coming for Nourish, Tomo Sushi & Ramen, and Casablanca. 🥕Center City
Barra Rosa | 929 Walnut St.
Looking for a taste of Italy, but vegan? Barra Rosa’s dinner menu offers an appetizer, entree, and dessert for just $40. The vegan mushroom ravioli with truffle oil, spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, and a basil pesto sauce sounds like my cup of tea. I mean come on! They also have a lunch special with an appetizer and entree for $25.
Calliope | TBD Location
Get ready to party –– vegan style! Calliope is hosting a dinner party on Oct. 30 in conjunction with Vegan Restaurant Week. This will be from 6:30–9:30 p.m. and the location is going to be in Center City, but the exact home is TBD. This four-course meal will be emailed to guests a few days prior.
Fat Salmon | 719 Walnut St.
Looking for a yummy vegan sushi roll? Fat Salmon is offering one appetizer and two rolls for $35 during Vegan Restaurant Week. Your appetizer options range from veggie gyoza to spicy cauliflower tempura. As for your rolls, you have 10 to choose from, so choose wisely!
🥦 South Philly
Cantina Los Caballitos | 1651 E. Passyunk Ave.
Sample not one but three vegan Mexican dishes. They’ll be making vegan mole pinto bean tamales with vegan crema and mozzarella cheese. There’s also an albóndigas burrito with vegan meatballs, chipotle tomato salsa, Mexican rice, refried black beans, arugula, and avocado. Last but not least is their vegan chicken al pastor torta made with marinated vegan chicken strips, pineapple, chipotle onions, garlic mayo, vegan cheddar cheese, avocado, tomato, and lettuce.
P’unk Burger | 1823 E. Passyunk Ave.
Personally, a vegan burger is always a go-to at a restaurant, and P’unk has just that and then some. You get a main with a side and a dessert for $30. For the mains, they’ll offer two vegan burger options along with a vegan fried chicken sandwich.
Triangle Tavern |1338 S 10th St.
Throughout this week Triangle Tavern plans to offer three new vegan dishes. This includes a vegan burger option, a vegan fried chicken option, and a vegan baked ziti calzone. Good thing you have a week to try them all.

Sor Ynez | 1800 N. American St.
For $35, you’ll be able to get a delicious three-course meal from this Mexican restaurant in Kensington. There are three appetizers, three entrees, and two desserts to choose from on their specialty menu. One entree includes a vegan Mixiote dish with eggplant chipotle salsa, chayote, nopales, carrots, celeriac, kale, Mexican rice, and fried onions.
🍌 Bella Vista
The Chilly Banana | 932 E. Passyunk Ave.
Throughout all of Vegan Restaurant Week, the Chilly Banana will offer a vegan Chicago-style hot dog. This vegan dog is topped with yellow mustard, raw white onion, green relish, peppers, pickles, tomato, and celery salt. You also get a banana whip of your choice!
🫑 Chestnut Hill
Chestnut Hill Brewing | 8221 Germantown Ave.
With an extensive menu, Chestnut Hill Brewing is offering loads of vegan options, from bang bang broccoli (tempura broccoli, sweet chili, peanuts, and spring onion) to white bean hummus (za’atar, fresh herbs, pita, and pickled veggies). As for entrees, you can do everything from a vegan burger to vegan pasta and even vegan pizzas.

Fitz on 4th | 743 S. 4th St.
This four-course for $45 is not to be missed. You can select one of two appetizers, which is followed by their soup course (a creamy Yukon potato and roasted sweet pepper). Then you select one of three entrees. And what’s a meal without a sweet treat? Pick between creme brulee or an apple strudel with flax vanilla sauce.

Tattooed Mom | 530 South St.
The menu at Tattooed Mom plans to switch up throughout Vegan Restaurant Week. From Oct. 25-27, try Tutu Mary’s chicken katsu sando with curry pork fries and herbal tea. Then from Oct. 28-31, enjoy TMoms’ hot hunny sammy along with the curry pork fries. And from Nov. 1-3, they’ll have Mary’s teri beef sando, curry pork fries, and herbal tea.
🥒 Fishtown
Front Street Cafe | 1253 N. Front St.
For just $35, you can enjoy a three-course meal at Front Street Cafe. I am super interested in the fried mozzarella which is made with house-made cashew mozzarella, sunflower seed parmesan crust, and pomodoro. There are five entrees to choose from, but the “parmesan” crusted eggplant looks phenomenal. It comes with sunflower seed ricotta, pomodoro, broccolini, and aged balsamic.

The Melting Pot KOP | 244 Mall Blvd
Vegan fondue can be hard to come by, but the Melting Pot has a variety of options for all of your vegan needs. They’ll be offering a vegan, cheddar-style fondue as an appetizer, farm fresh salad, a fondue entree with vegan meat substitutes, and a vegan chocolate fondue for dessert. These four courses are all for $49 per person.

Gass & Main | 7 Kings Ct.
This $60, three-course meal is turning various meat-based dishes into vegan delights. You have three appetizers to choose from to begin your meal. As for entrees, there are four including their vegan chunk steak ribeye. You’ll finish off your meal with dessert –– s’mores cookie pie or an apple crumble.
