Everyone needs a little me-time, and for some folks, that may mean hitting up a spa. In Philly, opportunities to pamper yourself can range from hours-long spa retreats to half-hour sauna sessions.

Imani Harris (@xoimaniindigo), a lifestyle content creator on TikTok and Instagram, sat down with City Cast Philly to share some of her go-to Philly spas that offer a variety of experiences and price points.

Located in the Loews Hotel, this full-service Center City spot is “somewhere that you can go and spend a few hours,” Harris says. It offers a wide range of body scrubs, float treatments, Turkish baths, massages, and facials, and it’s also got a salon and a gym.

Prices vary by service. Harris says to expect to spend somewhere in the $100–$150 range for “the full experience.”

You can find another full-service hotel spa at Center City’s W Hotel. One particular draw is the W’s year-round heated rooftop pool where you can go after you get your services, says Harris. It’s where she spent her birthday in December. “It makes you feel like it’s summer,” she says.

Prices range from $130 for a glow body treatment to $1,200 for a two-person, full-day getaway.

1439 Chestnut St.

This Center City hotel spa “lives up to the reputation of being the most luxurious spa in Philly” with its breathtaking 57th-floor views and steam room, sauna, and infinity pool, Harris says. It offers a wide range of services, including a dedicated nighttime spa experience and energy healing sessions.

It comes with a “pretty steep price tag” though, Harris says. Massages and facials each start around $210.

The Rittenhouse location of the national facial bar chain is more of an “in-and-out” experience, Harris says. An esthetician will analyze your skin and give you recommendations for products after a 50-minute facial.

Facials start around $50 for non-members.

1735 Chestnut St.

The Manayunk location of dtXfy is a favorite of Harris’s, with 30-minute infrared sauna sessions that leave her feeling really relaxed.

This is one of the more affordable options — a single 30-minute massage session starts at $30, and infrared sauna sessions start at $49 for non-members.

4328 Main St.

Located in Northern Liberties, this spa offers sauna sessions, massages, facials, and more. Harris recommends booking a 30- or 60-minute sauna session “for some quick self-care.”

Facials start at $90, massages start at $125, and infrared sauna sessions start at $25.
